Castillo Scholars will host a panel of achieved legal professionals to speak to pre-law students and give students a more comprehensive understanding of the legal profession.

In past years, we have had guest speakers, including federal and state judges as well as employees. We also have invited practitioners in the private sector (law firms and in-house).

Each of our board members comes from a unique and diverse background. These different lived experiences have and continuously inform their choices in law school and legal careers. With them successful in their respective fields, they are very eager to contribute back to communities.

With the structure of smaller groups, this event allows students to interact with current practitioners in law from different backgrounds and in different industries.

Paying for law school can be stressful. Castillo Scholars invites financial services from law schools and private institutions to overcome this obstacles with students.
