

Johannes Alvarez-Rivero, a second-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, brings a diverse background, including a B.A. in Law and Political Science from the University of Arizona and a Master of Legal Studies with a focus on International Business and Tax Law. He has worked as a Summer Associate at Husch Blackwell, served on the boards of student organizations, participated in Moot Court and Law Review, and currently holds positions as a Legal Extern at Northwestern Medicine and a Legal Intern at the Health Law Consultancy. In the upcoming summer of 2024, Johannes will join Reed Smith as a Summer Associate, concentrating on international mergers and acquisitions.
Eunsoo Choi is from Seattle (Go Huskies!) and attends Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She recently worked as a judicial extern at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to attending law school, she worked for two Fortune Global 500 companies as a corporate paralegal in Los Angeles. During her 1L summer, she was a summer associate at Barnes & Thornburg in Chicago. For her 2L summer, she was at Reed Smith in Chicago as the Managed Care Litigation Fellow and summer associate. Eunsoo likes to explore new food, cocktails, and coffee spots in her free time.
Elizabeth co-founded the Castillo Scholars Mentorship Program to help other first-generation law students like herself achieve their goals of attending and prospering in law school. Elizabeth graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2021. She is an Assistant State's Attorney in the Real Estate Tax Department, Civil Division at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. She handles all types of real estate tax matters including Property Tax Appeal Board cases, Specific Objection lawsuits, tax sale and deed matters, and Indemnity lawsuits. Prior to joining the State's Attorney's Office, Elizabeth was a real estate tax assessment analyst at the Cook County Board of Review.
